Professional Programs:

Professional Programs are structured to provide continuing education to those who already have a degree in a mental health profession, as well as students currently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health field. As such, Professional Programs are only open to mental health professionals & graduate students in the mental health fields. Gender Dysphoria: Overview of a Model for Assessment and Treatment

Brief Description: 
This program will cover a basic understanding of gender identity and gender dysphoria. Topics Covered: The primary distress impacting the mental health and well-being of those who choose to undergo social and/or medical gender transition; The treatment model based on the interaction between distress stemming from gender-related experience and primary mental health conditions; The distinction between internal dysphoria and that experienced due tot he impact of external/societal interaction

Please note that our Thursday Luncheon/Speaker Events are held at the Rutgers Club on the Livingston Campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway. It is on the 2nd floor of the Livingston Dining Commons, which is located at 85 Avenue E, Piscataway, NJ 08854. If you register in advance for the event, you will be emailed a link one day before the program to register your car for parking in their attached parking lot on the day of the event. Otherwise, parking can be found in Lot 101 on the Livingston Campus.


Community Programs

Community programs are open to members of the community, as well as mental health professionals & other professionals.
