MCAP Book Club - Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson

Brief Description: 

MCAP is beginning a book discussion group in September. Our first book will be  Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson.  Just Mercy is the true story about a gifted young attorney who defended a man sentenced to die for a notorious murder he didn't commit. Bryan Stevenson founded Equal Justice Initiative, a legal practice dedicated to defending the poor, wrongly condemned and those trapped in the furthest reaches of our criminal justice system.

Continuing Education Professional Programs are structured to provide continuing education to those who already have a degree in a mental health profession, as well as students currently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health field. As such, Professional Programs are only open to mental health professionals & graduate students in the mental health fields. If you are not mental health professional or mental health graduate student, and would like to request that we make an exception for you to attend, please CLICK HERE to review our policy and submit a request.

Location of The Rutgers Club

Please note that our Thursday Luncheon/Speaker Events are held at the Rutgers Club on the Livingston Campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway. It is on the 2nd floor of the Livingston Dining Commons, which is located at 85 Avenue E, Piscataway, NJ 08854. If you register in advance for the event, you will be emailed a link one day before the program to register your car for parking in their attached parking lot on the day of the event. Otherwise, parking can be found in Lot 101 on the Livingston Campus.
